My first trimester gave me different scares. First, I had bleeding around my 6th week which turned out to be an implantation bleeding (very normal) according to the nurse midwife. Boy, was I scared to death when I saw blood on the bed sheet and my underwear when I woke up that morning, and cried and panicked thinking I had miscarried my first baby. Then when I was around 11 weeks, I got this all over my body. All of my skin itched every second of the day worse than every other itch imaginable. I was sleepless for 2 nights and was very miserable. Thanks to Benadryl (with my nurse midwife’s permission), it went away 2 days later.
